FROM THE GRAVE

From the Grave, formed in February of 2006, pushes the limits of today's heavier music by playing 7 string guitars in Drop G tuning--extremely unique, and almost unheard of in music today. Composed of ex-members of Chicago land bands such as Forsworn (Vincent/Andrew), Grenade Vs Freight Train (Jenna), and The Red Son (Daniel), From the Grave is about writing and performing the music they love. The band's heartfelt lyrics remain uncurbed by their heavier base, a uniqueness that many bands seldom acquire throughout years of existence. From the Grave brings a perfect blend of heart-stopping breakdowns, catchy melodic riffs, and a touch of southern rock n' roll fused with what will be considered one of most intense stage shows in local music.-From the Grave
