Frixion

FRIXION formed four years ago when Neil Painter and David Stanton met at college. They decided to start up a new unique boy band with an RnB edge. After holding open auditions in The Stage newspaper, they found Johnny Wright and Frixion were complete.
After recording an albums worth of unique Pop/RnB crossover material, the Birmingham and Blackpool born 3-piece re-located to London to concentrate on touring and spreading the Frixion word. During that time they supported artists such as JESSIE J, TINIE TEMPAH and TINCHY STRYDER amongst others, as well as being announced as one of N-DUBZ official support acts for their 'Uncle B' UK Tour.
In July 2010 Frixion released their debut single in the UK. AFRAID featured vocals from FDM and as well as hitting the Top 20 on The RnB Club Charts it also hit no.1 on many online pre-order charts. To promote the single, the band did an intense School Tour followed by a heavy Summer Tour of festivals and nightclubs.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE is the 2nd single from the RnB trio. The catchy track is a perfect summer anthem, with infectious hook-lines and a chorus guaranteed to be stuck in your head for days.
With a new tour lined up this summer as well as another School Tour and follow-up single in the pipeline, these lads are the ones to watch in 2011
