Freeflowin

Distinguishing herself as the free flowing voice of poetic rhymes, Freeflowin is taking the world by storm. Her poetic style and rhymes are unique and a clear representation of the Brooklyn native,Panamanian poet.



Growing up the only child her imagination was constantly in motion and her companion was a pen and pad. She took it upon herself to write little short stories and plays to express herself. Free began to take control of her life through words and she dictated where a story ended and began.



With influences such as Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni, Robert Frost,Rumi and William Shakespeare, it's no wonder her style is unique and fresh. "I yearned to learn more about this craft of writing and wanted to implement their styles and techniques in my own works in great hopes that one day my work would be as moving and inspiring as theirs." Free says, "I do enjoy exploring a new found freedom which has become my fuel to write."



Free has performed at many New York City venues including Bowery Poetry Club, The Five Spot, Sputnik, Groove, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.



Freeflowin says, "I write poetry that sends out a message to the readers or the audience." With a genuine universal appeal, you can't help but live vicariously through her words, rhythms and rhymes. This artist message is clear and she strives to open the eyes and minds of whoever encounters her poetic flow.
