ENG - Roman, artistically born during the famous rave scene in Rome in the early 90’s thanks to his dj set, his radio show “Virus” (that then became an official trademark in 1993) and to his discographic productions on the historic “ACV Records” in 94/95 he becomes one of the major italian techno artists ( in those years Marco Carola was growing artistically). So he begins to produce numerous remixes for the historic american artist known as Robert Armani and being chosen, along with artists like Dave Clark and Adam X, for the production of various compilations, and in the meantime he collaborated with these previously mentioned artists. Buthis album “Rage of Age” in 1994 left a sign, it’s arrived in the most important european house/techno classifications , arriving in 3rd place (on the french and german magazines “Out Soon” and “ Frontpage”). His presence in historic techno/house festivals like the ones in Switzerland (Evolution 1 1995/World Dance Convention/Garden of Eden/Metropolis 1/etc…), in France (Arcadia Paris/etc), in Holland (Megarave, etc…) in Belgium and in the club “MDM” in Moscow wherehe was a guest for 3 times in 95/96, taking also care of the music at the “Italian Fashion Fair” in 1996. Creator of the Virus trademark becomes with his staff, the organization that from 1993 to 1995 was the offical public relator in Italy the raves called “Energy” in Zurich and that produced in Rome the famous one night event called “Oxygen”. Playing in the best italian clubs (Jaiss, Cellophane, Red Zone, Goa,) and participating in a lot fo parties and raves. Nowadays he collaborates with the best organizations such as the Tresor in Berlin, musically oriented on techno, minimal and acid house, beign able to acchieve a great feeling with the dancefloor and in this way remaining on the most experienced djs. In the meantime he took care of the development of his trademark, Virus, that brought him to create “Virus Records” a record shop that joined the shop called Re-mix. In the last years he was resident in the project called “Diabolika Level One” in the club NRG in Ciampino (Rome) and was also resident for various years at the “Jaiss” club twice a month and at all the COSMOPRODUCTION events in the “Fortezza da Basso” in Florence and all the rest of Italy, collaborator for the Tresor in Berlin, he played at the “Culture Box” in Copenhagen and “Tresor” in Berlin, all around in Italy, taking care of the management for the shop, the distribution, his labels (in collaboration with the great Sandro Nasonte) “Elettronica Romana”, “Elettronica Romana LTD” and the numerous discographic projects…Nowadays he is resident and creator of the new floor in the historic Qube club ( that he joins again after 15 years) called ROBOT, not only a floor but an actual project with his new crew, K1971: label management & booking is his world of labels and artists!! When Freddy K plays ….its always a great event!

ITA - Romano,nato artisticamente durante la famosa scena rave capitolina dei primi anni '90,grazie ai suoi dj-set, al suo programma radio "Virus"(poi divenuto un vero e proprio marchio nel 1993) e alle sue produzioni discografiche sulla storica "ACV Records” diventa negli anni '94/'95 uno dei maggiori esponenti italiani della techno (in quel periodo nasceva artisticamente Marco Carola). Inizia cosi’ a produrre numerosi remix per lo storico artista americano Robert Armani e ad essere scelto, insieme a nomi del calibro di Dave Clarke e Adam X, per la produzione di numerose compilation, stringendo in seguito, una proficua collaborazione con gli artisti stessi. Ma è il suo album "Rage of Age" del 1994 a lasciare il segno, perchè arriva nelle più importanti classifiche europee del settore house/techno, toccando persino il terzo posto (vedi la rivista francese "Out Soon" e il giornale tedesco "Frontpage"). Determinante la sua presenza a techno_house festivals storici come quelli in Svizzera (Evolution 1 1995/World Dance Convention/Garden of Eden/Metropolis 1/etc), in Francia (Arcadia Parigi/etc), in Olanda (Megarave,etc), in Belgio e al club "MDM" di Mosca dove fu ospite per tre volte nella stagione 95/96, curando anche le musiche della "Fiera della moda italiana a Mosca" del 1996. Creatore del Virus trade mark, diventa con il suo staff, l'organizzazione che dal 1993 al 1995 detiene la nomina di official public relator in Italia per i raves "Energy" di Zurigo e che produce a Roma la famosa one-night "Oxygene". Suonando nei migliori club italiani e partecipando a tantissimi parties e raves, arriva ai giorni nostri collaborando con le migliori organizzazioni vedi Tresor di Berlino, musicalmente orientato su sonorità techno, minimale e acid house, riuscendo a creare un'ottimo feeling con il dancefloor e rimanendo così uno dei djs di maggior spessore ed esperienza. In contemporanea si dedica allo sviluppo del suo marchio Virus che lo porta ad aprire "Virus Records" un negozio di dischi che vede da tre quattro la fusione con lo storico Remix. Negli ultimi tempi e' stato resident del progetto "DIABOLIKA Level One"con base all'NRG di Ciampino(ROMA) e' stato resident per anni a tutti gli eventi della COSMOPRODUCTION in “Fortezza da Basso” a Firenze e in tutta Italia, collaboratore per il Tresor di Berlino,ha suonato al “Culture Box” di Copenhaghen,in giro per l'italia, diverse volte al nuovo Tresor di Berlino,…,resident e creatore della nuova sala dello storico Qube club (dove ritorna dopo 15 anni) chiamata ROBOT e soprattutto fondatore della K1971 label management che da 2 anni ha fatto nascere e crescere tantissime delle piu’ importanti nuove labels ormai realta’ internazionali. Non per ultimo ha fondato insieme al suo amico di sempre Max_M ,la M_Rec Ltd nuova label in vinile 100% pure techno con artisti del calibro di Paul Mac,Chris Finke,A.Paul,Jeroen Search,Bas Mooy e Max M stesso…e come sempre e’ solo un nuovo inizio.

Ogni volta che Freddy K suona, non puo’ che essere un’evento!
