Freaky Fortnight are a 3 piece based in South Wales, UK. People who like the band tend to be farmers, people into 90’s grunge and art bands, females, old punks from the sex pistols days, artists and loners.

Formed in November 2004 with Lee on guitar and Bronwen on bass the band went through 2 drummers before settling the line up in Summer 2006, when festival friend Jonny Crow joined on drums. JOnny also plays in underground squat band Crowzone - check them out the friend section!

Freaky Fortnight put out a 3 track EP with DIY punk label Cat Corpse Records Autumn 2005 with Rich (now in FilthyHabits) on drums. 2006 took the band across the UK with Red Martian from Seattle and the band (with the help of Martin from Gash Collective) set off to Belfast, London, Manchester and ended up back in shitty Aberaman.

BBC Radio Wales music bloke Adam Walton paid for the band to record in Nott in Pill with Jeff and Ginge (who used to be in Dubwar and Skindred) - the result of this was a session that aired on BBC Radio Wales in January 07 and 4 new tracks were played.

Freaky Fortnight released their early demo material with Tidy Like Records in 2007 and released this material on an album called Tales of a Freaky Fortnight.

The band recorded ten tacks at the amazing twin peaks studio and completed the album in January 2008. These tracks include fresh recordings of the early Tidy Like demos plus new material. These are not out there yet but hopefully wil be out there sometime this year. Some of this stuff you are probably listening to now on the myspace player. your feedback is always welcome
