FRANCHIZE THE LEGACY

Very few can prosper from misfortune. The ability to translate a negative environment into a musical art enables the name “Franchize TL” to be mentioned as a great hip hop artist. His clever wordplay and creative song structure allows himself to be recognized as an advanced artist under the age of 20. Franchize was born in Toronto, Canada at a time when breaking through internationally as a Canadian artist wasn’t realistic. Franchize kept pursuing his dreams by forming a determined team and solid foundation which would later be known as “Blastoff Ent.”. He started rapping at 10 years old motivated by his surroundings and entertaining personality he then became involved with talent shows and freestyle battles which were very popular at the time. After a buzz had been created about this young talent he had been given the nickname “Franchize” at school stemming from the last name “Francis” and also his determination to be the well known “franchise” player that encourages his team to be a dynasty. As time progressed Franchize added “TL” to his name as an acronym for “The Legacy” his is trying to leave in the business. The maturity and flavour of his new school sounding music makes his records enjoyable and relevant to all age groups. His strict work ethic and business etiquette recently enabled his first promotional video “Ready to Roll” to attract 20,000+ views in the first week! Now he is ready to release his debut mixtape “Star Academy” to the public in mid September, 2010.
