Husband & wife team, Chris and Jaci Uttecht (Fourth in the Fire) write simple songs about complex things: the ups and downs of their relationship with God, forgiveness, life, love, & letting go. Phrases turn, emotions connect, and melodies soar. These songs are so hook driven that you can sing along even though you've never heard the tune before. Chris and Jaci write from the perspective of two lovesick worshippers of the Almighty God. Hello Stranger is like a conversation between God and His children when they stray, while Exhilaration talks about the amazing highs you can enjoy when following Him.

After graduating with music degrees from Belmont University School of Music, Chris and Jaci began working full-time at TeenServe Missions where they have traveled the country each summer performing concerts and leading worship for thousands of teens. In August of 2006, the Uttecht's began their full-time church ministry. Chris has been the worship pastor at Jacob's Well church in Eau Claire, WI since the summer of 2007.

They have recorded four albums, including the 2006 release Awakening. They have performed and led worship for hundreds of events including youth conferences, camps, churches, and rallies. In 2004, the band played a 20-minute set to open for keynote speaker President Bush for an audience of 6000.

In March of 2006, Fourth in the Fire did a 10-day concert tour of Japan. They played at churches, clubs, and young adult Christian conference, J-Passion, Tokyo. They have shared the stage with many Christian music greats including, Michael W. Smith, & Twila Paris, and Jeff Nelson.

Since 1999, Fourth in the Fire has been on a mission: to share their lives, their Lord, and their music with as wide an audience as possible.
