Biographical note of FF.C (Fortified Concept)



FF.C. is the first hip-hop group that formed in Greece, in 1987.

The group consists of, the producer and founder Dimitris Petsoukis, the MC. Costas Courmentalas and the DJ Thomas Pitikakis, known as Dj everlast .

The members met each other at, a roller-cafe place in Athens, called ROXY.

ROXY soon became the spot for people involved with breaking", "rapping", "graffity" at that time, in Greece.

After 6 years of, hiring studios and recording their material, the group released their debut L.P. of 500 copies under their own label without any help from the major record companies. The group continued recording tracks and performing live and 1997 they got their first record deal with Polygram. After that they released 4 albums: S'allh diastash (In another dimension) 1997, H Apeilh (The Threat) 1998, Oxyrwmenh Antilhpsh (Fortified Concept) 2000, Yp'opsin 2002. They also formed their own production label ANTIKSOES PARAGWGES (HARD TIMES PRODUCTIONS) which became the foundation for many kinds of musical experiments.
