Forgotten Sol is a delicious blend of funk, hip-hop, and soul with a message so honest and passionate you feel it first and then think about it. A style summed up by: "bohemian soul". Performing as a 5 piece band since 2005 Forgotten Sol was founded in 2001 by lead singer Cristina Orbé and guitarist Dan Moore The motivation? Create booty shaking music that when you stop to think about what is being said, it makes you feel good to be a part of.

Forgotten Sol performs with some of the best players in the Northwest: Aaron Walker-Loud on drums Justin Cayou on bass and Okanomode-aka SoulChilde on back-up vocals and harmonic inspiration.

This dynamic ensemble creates a live show experience that is breathtaking, electrifying and unforgettable.

In 2003, they released a self titled EP and in 2006 released “contradiction” a full length album engineered and produced by renowned producer, Geoff Stanfield. Forgotten Sol has performed live on Seattle's KEXP, on the program “Sonarchy”. They have also performed several times on the program “Daily Planet” on KBCS in Seattle. The combination of their unique styles and raw delivery has attracted an ever growing fan base and moved them into larger venues including a major stage at Seattle's Bumbershoot Festival. Forgotten Sol has toured throughout the Northwest and Alaska and will soon head to New York (October 2007) and all the West Coast (2008). Please help us bring Forgotten Sol to you!
