BIO:

After years in the making, the "Fly Boyz" have finally emerged. Group members Slim Music & Concernz met through soundclick back in 2005. As fans of each other's music, they often discussed working on a project together. There were a few collaborations through 2005, but their chemistry was really displayed during the next year. In 2006, on Slim Music's Solo project "Slim Music: The Album", Slim & Concernz hooked up again for what would be two of their biggest tracks of all-time. The first was "Firefighter", a creative twist on the the format of a normal "strip club song". This was the second single from that project. The next was the underground smash hit "Fly Boyz". The song displayed the character that they are now known for, the swagger-filled bragging and boasting with enormous self-confidence. Slim Music is quoted saying "There's NO ONE else I would have done that track with. Concernz is the only other artist I know that can match my swag. Had he turned down my offer, the track would have never been released, and there would be no Fly Boyz." This track earned both of them their first taste of radio play in Virginia. From that track, the group Fly Boyz was created, and the long-anticipated first project is now in effect. "Fly Boyz: The Mixtape" featured new and previously recorded tracks from the two. The first single "How U Want It" quickly lit the fire for the mixtape and the Fly Boyz had the streets buzzing. The track was performed at local shows and played on local radio earning them major recognition and respect as a force in the underground hip-hop scene in Virginia. The project "Fly Boyz: The Mixtape" flooded the streets of the 757 on July 4th, 2008. It was widely accepted and critically acclaimed. The content of its tracks ranged from edgy street cuts to bouncy club records appealing to all masses of hip-hop fans in the are. With their 2nd mixtape, FB2, they will once again show their diversity and why they deserve every bit of credit and recognition given to them in the past. With 90% of production from 2 Fly Entertainment in-house producer Young Seph, and collaborations with such artists as MEGA, Spinks, Marv, DaKemistry, OC Clique, Bless Jones, 2FE's own 2 Fly Crew, and more, "FB2" promises to be an instant classic as soon as its released.
