We've been doing our thing since way back.came out as HOODED CRU,flipped it to Full Proof Connection and right now we'd like to call ourselves the FLOWLIFE BUMZ.but what's in a name??It's the music that counts right??.or at least it should!!You corny,prefabricated,mascara wearing mf'erscrawl back under the rock where they found you!!
Anyway,as Belgium residents,we used to focus on the local scene.putting out several mixtapes and CD's and even a 12inch in 1999,called "Remain Below".
But lately we've been trying to take it to that next level,by focusing more on the international scene.In 2005 we released the "Global Relationz" 12inch(out on CHEEBAWAX),which was a project where we came up with the beats and OMNI (BLX crew,Los Angeles) with the rhymes.Actually,we were (and are still) recording a lot with OMNI,so check some of his previous albums (Funkdafied Freddy,Burgundy Brown,Ballyhoo and Ninja Art)to catch some more of our productions.
In 2006 we finished another EP,entitled "Dinner@Table N9",featuring the one and only CountBassD and our homebwoi OMNI.Out on B9000 records and CHEEBAWAX.Distributed by Grooveattack and Caroline.In stores NOW!!!!We also dropped the "Bummixes" that year,a very limited remix/instrumental/scratch album.
2007 brought us "The MiXXXtape",a compilation with a bunch of our most recent (plus some previous) releases.It also includes the first single of the upcoming "Bumz Galore" album,entitled "The Smackdown",which features Dyno.We also shot a video for this track,as can be seen on the page.
In 2008 I did a mixtape,"The Laid-Back version",for our Brussels based Laid-Back homies.It's still available (free download).just check my bulletins.
This year (2009) we promised ourselves to share all our new creations with the world in the form of a new album, so be on the lookout!! I also did some production work for my long time friend Dynamic. A track called "HipHop Soldiaz" which can be found on his latest release ("Serious Nonsense").
