If Flatline was a child, it would be a prodigy.

This band is prime example that shows what blood, sweat and tears can create. It was born in the beginning of 2005 in Sarajevo, capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, city that strives toward suffocating every single aspect of underground art. It's creators were and still are: Mux The Vocalist, Igor The Bassist, Slaven The Guitarist and Zlatko The Drummer. Slaven and Zlatko are also core members of well known Sarajevo's hardcore act KONTRA.

Describing Flatline's wall of sound and simplifying it to a level of single genre would be insulting and impossible, so the band named it itself - POSTTRAUMATIC HARDCORE. Their style and mixture of music constantly evolves, song by song you are able to discover something different and something truly unique. Flatline members say their music is inspired

by the likes of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Pantera, Napalm Death, Crowbar, Down and Sepultura, BUT! Flatline at the same time is and is not sounding like these bands. They're truly unique - they're POSTTRAUMATIC HARDCORE.

One of the most important aspects of Flatline which is sometimes easily looked over are strong, personal lyrics. These are written in English, dealing with socio-political aspects of lives of average Bosnian and Herzegovinian citizens, depicting personal struggles during and after the war aggression. These lyrics are telling stories of a everyday life of every Bosnian and Herzegovinian, and because of Flatline's personal beliefs, emphasis should be on BOSNIANS AND HERZEGOVINIANS, NOT Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats (which are constitutionaly protected nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina).

In 2007, after the successful tour gig in Switzerland, they were invited to RoyStone Studios in city of Wallis to use the studio for five hours free of charge as an act of gratitude from the owner for the gig well done. Flatline managed to record their first album "Posttraumatic Lullabies" in five hours. This album got rave reviews by fans and media anywhere it was played, it perfectly depicts Flatline's power. It was self released and is available for order directly from the band. New EP is on it's way.

In 2009, during their tour in Germany, Flatline took a day off in Munich and recorded music video for their song "On Display". Video was shot and brough to life by "Steadicam" (www.steadicam.biz) crew - steadicam operator Davor Marinkovic, producers Ante Curic and Melanie Knauer and director Leon Moralic. To this very date, this is technically the best underground video of Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the finest in whole Balkans area, standing side by side even with mainstream acts. You can watch the video below this text.

They're not sounding great only on CD - they're one of the favourite bands live on the stage. Be it their city Sarajevo or any other city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, be it Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Turkey, Macedonia, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia or any other country they've toured for the past few years (and they toured a lot!), Flatline knows their game and they always stay on top of it. They've also been supporting acts like

thrash legends TANKARD (Germany) and DEVASTATION (Texas, USA), prime Czech underground acts liKe Poppy Seed Grinder and Cerebral Turbulency (RIP) and they've

blasted the way for grindcore gods NAPALM DEATH on their gig in Sarajevo.
