       This is a profile page dedicated to Ioannis anastassakis' 1st Solo Flamenco guitar CD, Flamenco Live at Ioannina.

This CD recording was initially was released by MP3.com on August 2000 and immediately entered the company's Flamenco category Top 10 charts, eventually reaching the #1 place worldwide on October 2002.

The CD was re-mastered and re-released byWild Rose Angel Productions on 2004.

Since then, according to Guitar9, it has been one of the MOST succesful Flamenco guitar recordings produced by an independent record label, surpassing sales of flamenco guitar virtuosos like Vicente Amigo and Paco de Lucia!!
