Static March is an innovative three-piece Alternative/Rock band on the rise in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally formed in September 2009, the three remaining members of Five High collaborated and emerged with a fresh sound. Static March has created an eclectic sound stemming from influences such as Kings of Leon, Muse and Incubus. With captivating drumming from Josh Strmic and smooth bass lines delivered by James Strmic, they form the dynamic rhythm section. Along with Nick Jensen’s versatile vocals and magnetic guitar riffs, the trio sustains a distinctive style that engages a diverse audience.
While in Five High, they were chosen to open for The Fray at the 2007 Tempe Music Festival and performed alongside a multitude of talented artists such as O.A.R., Yellowcard, Cowboy Mouth and Everclear. Also as Five High, they performed and headlined at many noted venues throughout the Southwest. These experiences served as a starting point in the trio’s journey to a successful future. Static March utilizes these past endeavors and eagerly pursues their ambition to be in the forefront of the ever-evolving music industry.
