Based out of Tyler, Texas, the four piece Christian metal/experimental band Fit For A King has been turning heads in the south for just over 2 years now. Influences ranging from Circa Survive to Impending Doom, can easily be heard throughout their music.
A bust your butt attitude and Christ like mentality has quickly set them apart among independent bands on the circuit. Along with their high energy and brutally heavy live set, Fit For A King is a force to reckon with! Independently selling over 2,000+ copies of their “Awaken The Vesper” EP online in 2009, and even more at live shows, Fit For A King has kids begging for more.
Huge hearts mixed with a strong aspiration to share their music with the masses, Fit For A King is now touring full time throughout the US spreading their message of hope and love. With a growing hype generated around them, Fit for a King announced that they will be releasing their debut full length album "Descendents" in Spring 2011 with new members Ryan Kirby (Vocals) and Bobby Lynge (Guitar). This album will be just the beginning for many great things.
