FishSeeksBicycle is an open-minded and downright rude party movement that comes together to host the most exciting and imaginative parties on The South Coast; with unlawfully good bands, performance artists, DJ’s, stalls, sideshows, ridiculous revelry and dress-up debauchery.

We make it happen, be it in a field, a cave, a forest, an opera house, or a club.

We offer the following professional services: Festivals, Music Programming and Technical ; Creative and Décor; Logistics and Event Production; Bars and Staffing; Experiential and

Guerrilla Marketing; Community events and Private Party Planning; Integrated IT solutions for events (ooh la la); and Online Ticketing systems. Phew.

Born in Boscombe June 2001 with the Backyard Band Bash, FSB has since grown to represent what is so good about small independent musical and artistic events: a collective of like minded souls gathered for a common purpose.

Live

The Mordekkers

One of the most innovative and unique of the UKs live bands today. The Pembrokeshire 4-piece use traditional pipes and mandola with live drum and bass. The result is an energetic, infectious groove that never fails to get the audience dancing. www.mordekkers.co.uk

Latin Dub Soundystem

Part sound system, part South American orchestra their genre-defying big bass lines and carnival rhythm live sound incorporates Latin percussion, house-driven melodies, dub beats, uplifting vocals, flamenco guitars, Mambo horns and rap.

Brought to you by the producer behind Rodney P, they feature an ever changing array of singers & mc's from Ska Cubana to Benjamin Zephaniah.

Planetman and the Internationalz

These guys prove conclusively that pure groove still has a place in the hearts and souls of man. Planet and his band live and breathe for live performance, and their communal spirit echoes throughout their songs – all of which call out in perfect harmony for equality, peace, love and understanding. www.myspace.com/planet7

Confirmed DJ’s as of todays date will include:

The Crafty Rascals, The Hair Bears, The Worlds Tallest DJ, Chris Pedley (Baker Brothers) but there are countless fantastic dj’s waiting to be found a slot.

Room two will feature an eclectic live Mix of bands presented by Small World. Please see www.smallworldsolarstage.org for updates.

There may also be several additional mixed genre music rooms (TBC)

Save the hill of Tara!

As you read this the sacred valley of Tara in Ireland is under immediate threat from the M3 motorway building plan. All over the world the significance of ancient and sacred sites is disregarded as they are used for nuclear testing (in Australia) or toxic waste dumping (on Native American burial grounds). We believe that the preservation of sacred sites is more important than the gold rush style of ‘development’ practiced by Western governments. Profits from this event will help pay for the costs of keeping the protest site running. www.tarapixie.net www.savetara.com www.tarawatch.org

Who are the Organisers?

Fish Seeks Bicycle. Fish Seeks (as most of you know) is a grassroots events production company that put on fantastically flamboyant events, both indoor and out. They are based in Dorset where you’ll find them most at home, but the shoal has been spotted all over the UK over the past 5 years. Relentlessly touring the festival circuit this summer with both their live stage and The Looniverse music café, Fish Seeks can always be relied upon to bring with them the best performers and dress up freaks with their all inclusive music policy and party time vibes. www.fishseeksbicycle.com, www.myspace.com/fishseeksbicycle or find us on facebook.

Small World. These guys run a beautiful, colorful, warm hearted festival stage that runs on solar power in the summer. They run their own festival twice yearly (“festival utopia”- Festival Eye) and in the summer they are regulars at Glastonbury, The Big Green Gathering and The Secret Garden Party. During the chilly winter months they can be found at The Synergy Project in London and their own legendary weekenders.www.smallworldsolarstage.org , www.thesynergyproject.org, www.big-green-gathering.com

Earth Circus Productions. This is a new title for a collective with years of experience in circus entertaining, environmental awareness and in running community centre’s and performance spaces. www.circlecommunity.org

Liminal Arts. This organization produces events that challenge the thresholds between different perceptions of the realities we inhabit. LA specialize in multi medium events that involve a number of different creative entities to create unique and immersive environments and works of art
