The Blakk Reaction formed in 2011 following the break up of bands 'Fiori' and 'Strays,' where band members were shed faster than Rebekah Brooks can delete her e-mail inbox. Songwriters Dave and Arthur decided to go it alone and seek a more original sound. Lack of personnel were compensated for by tuning guitars even lower, pushing decibels higher and Arthur replacing strings for skins.
It has been speculated that the formation of the band was the cause of the London riots, although these reports are yet to be confirmed.
