At the age of 23, Filthy Fattz posses' lyrical talent that is far beyond his years. Born to a single mother, Kameron Moore a.k.a Filthy Fattz grew up in "Charlie Parker Housing Projects" in Kansas City, MO, which is part of the famous 18th and Vine jazz district, where Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald and many other Jazz greats performed. Filthy says "As a kid I had no idea the musical richness my neighborhood had because I only saw violence and drugs growing up." Having a strong family support system helped to keep Filthy grounded and focused on doing something positive with his life instead of living by the gun and dying by it. Filthy's interest in rap music increased at age 12, when he used to steal his uncle Gil's cassette tapes and mimic various rappers for hours until he had every lyric down to a science. Later he started writing his own rhymes while sitting outside his uncle's bedroom door listening to him rap. Filthy says one day after about of year of kicking me out of his room everyday, he got tired and opens the door and said 'spit some shit and let me see what you got man" and it was on. Every time they had freestyle rap session from that day forward he was part of it and holding his own by age 15, but after losing several childhood friends and family member to the violent streets and jail, it was time to turn another corner and put those rhymes to some beats. Opportunity knocked when rapper Anthony Watkins recorded a compilation CD and asked Filthy Fattz to appear with other guests such as Tech N9ne and Rich The factor, and many others, which helped introduce him to the underground hip-hop scene. Filthy Fattz appears on several Compilations including: Fat Tone's It Is Real Mix CD Vol. 1, Fat Tone's Only In Killa City, Fat Tone Presents Sky's The Limit Mix CD Vol. 2, Da Derrty Constructive Critisism. This Long Awaited Album Is Well Worth The Wait. One of the most innovative young rappers out of the Midwest, Filthy Fattz has nothing to lose and everything to gain, while laying it all on the line this kid is gonna put Kansas City on the map. 'I have a lot of respect for Tech N9ne because he's a veteran and has paved the road for many Kansas City, Missouri rappers, so I'm ready to strong arm-my way to the top, says Filthy Fattz.
