His passion and interest in music appears at a very early stage in life, listening to the Beatles and seeking to learn the guitar. This leads him to focus on several sub genres of rock, pop and 70s. He then develops an interest in composition and recording, creating rock-pop tracks using PC sequences. During this period, he pursues advanced music studies at the Ars Nova school, where he acquired knowledge in modern harmony and solfege. He would soon get acquainted with Funk, which naturally introduced him to disco.



His devotion towards such genres would lead him at the age of 17 to disco clubs, which would also play house music. He then started familiarizing with weekly parties such as Boogie Nights, with which he would develop a key relationship later in his career. His first electronic music project - named Metrobox - developed by teaming with DJ Demetrio of CCS (Caracas). After several studio recording sessions and live performances, Fernan Dust had officially started his House DJ/Producer career. He soon began producing his own tracks and bringing them to the Venezuelan dance floor.



After several years in the business, Fernan Dust is currently one of the key players in Venezuelan Electronic movement. Additionally, he direct his own label (Secret Hz Music) and has developed several projects internationally. These range from signed tracks with Do the Hip Records (Germany) and Soul Funk Digital (UK) to remixes with Pool E Music (France). He recently delivered a remix of DJ Disciple's Rise Up and is currently on the last steps of signing his latest release for the last quarter of 2007.



On a national level, his latest releases - "I Can't Wait" and "Housin' In La Playa - have reached high rotation on several key radio stations across the country. This trend is also evidenced by a history of numerous presentations at the best parties and clubs in main Venezuelan cities, concurring at parties with international DJs such as Bad Boy BIll, Guy Williams of London, DJ Disciple and several more. With the upcoming releases and the coverage Fernan Dust has gained, this prestigious DJ/Producer promises a steady rise and international presence in the upcoming seasons.
