When guitarist Michael Landau, bassist Reggie Hamilton and drummer Gary Novak got together for their Fender Studio Session at Capitol Records’ hallowed Studio A, the powerhouse trio performed “The Long Way Home.” The track is actually a song by the Ringers, a group featuring Landau, Novak, guitarist Jimmy Herring and bassist Etienne Mbappe.
