"Let's breathe a collective sigh of relief, because the five-piece Canadian outfit doesn’t disappoint with this album. Their second proper full-length, Feel. is rife with gauzy, shoegaze-influenced guitar compositions and effects-laden melodies that have a rather tranquilizing effect on one's mind." -XLR8R.com_____________________________

Unlike most remix albums - and this is the main reason why I've featured it - Faunts Remixed is well-rounded and listenable, of all things, which is rare with this format." -Exclaim.ca_____________________________

"The aesthetic of M4 is noticeably more purposeful than their debut, with choice variations between tracks that add to the whole without disrupting the overall flow. Newfound fans from the Mass Effect realm who are looking for more of the same will not be disappointed, nor will they be bored. Faunts aren’t a one-trick pony. They’re the real deal." -Tiny Mix Tapes_____________________________
High Expectations/Low Results
FFR-002
Released October 18, 2005
1. High Expectations
2. Instantly Loved
3. Memories of Places We've Never Been
4. Place I've Found
5. Parler de la Pluie et du Beau Temps
6. Will You Tell Me Then
7. Twenty-Three
8. Gone With the Day
9. Low Results
"As the record makes its way through such stellar moments as "Instantly Loved" and "Place I've Found," keyboards blend with guitars, and the vocals, although never prominent, sail steadily through the mix. In fact, the band's use of instruments is more than enough to create an intense experience. The 13-minute, snail-paced "Gone with the Day" adds slowcore and country to the relaxed atmosphere, greatly expanding the band's palette. And High Expectations/Low Results surprises as much as it soothes: a vocoder enters the picture on "Twenty-Three" while at the same time Faunts seem to be nodding to '70s psychedelia. A satisfying record for any fan of spacy rock." -allmusic.com

[Faunts are] "driving along the same star-lit road as The Smiths' "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out," but these love-sick passengers are lucky enough not to get hit head-on by that double-decker bus" - Fluxblog
"Gorgeous, lush shoe-gazey indie rock.very pleasurable" - Music For Robots
"Despite the self-deprecating title, 'High Expectations/Low Results' is an amazingly ambitious and expansive album, garnering the group comparisons to the likes of Sigur Ros and the Cure. While the record's sound is completely Edmonton - cold, sparse, yet comforting - it's hard to believe that the band's combination of ambient guitar, soft drums and ethereal keys was born here rather than Montreal or Toronto" - Vue Weekly
