Hailing from Montreal, this Caucasian emcee is definitely one to watch out for in the future, the white Russian ‘Fatty Soprano’, from Russia to New Jersey n’ now stationed in Montreal at the moment. Not only is he an incredible lyricist but also a very talented songwriter, and more diverse than you can imagine. Discovering hip-hop when he was only 8, Fatty fell in love with the music and since that moment, it was a wrap. After mastering the art of freestyling, and defeating a lot of rappers in battles during his High school years, this pushed Fatty to start taking rap music seriously and recording songs. His biggest influences in Hip hop are Notorious B.I.G and Jay-Z. Soprano studied every single album the two Brooklyn rappers have ever put out and learned the art of song writing in its truest form. At the age of 16, he recorded a couple of songs with a producer from West Palm Beach, Florida, Menoza, which one of them, ended up playing on a local radio station CKUT 90.3 in Montreal. In 2006, Fatty Soprano got signed with D.P.C. Movements, an independent record label, in 2006 and released “Woke up this Mornin”, his first mixtape. He is now on high rotation, on local radio stations, sold out many shows, and has got a considerably big buzz in Montreal, among the hip hop community. He is expected to release his upcoming most anticipated mixtape/EP, “3

Lettaz”, being featured on an up n’ coming mixtape from Break Magazine in Atlanta, hosted by So So Def, Shonuff Records,Dj Kelo and a surprise guest. It’s been eight months of work with D.P.C. MOVEMENTS ‘NEW GOVERNMENT’, and so far, he has; appeared in 2 american magazines , the early summer edition of NEW POWER MAGAZINE, as well as featured in Fourth Coast Entertainment Magazine, by Dj Mike Calvin. Fatty now gets regular airplay locally, n’ around cities in Canada , n’ now even breakin’ the border and getting airplay in the united states in a little under 12 states. Fatty’s working mainly with American artists and producer’s now, with the help of his label, all or most of his next works will be mainly with the American artists making moves like him, quite the go getter. Sponsored by Illicit Clothing store Downtown Saint. Catherine. As well as Crooked Wear Clothing from Mississippi, how? Prezzy, the label owner/manager has a business partner n’ music associate L’il Tony, the featured artist of New Power Magazine, and has his own clothing line at the same time. Soprano has even come out with a catchy tune called Caught-in-Candy to promote the official fragrance for females made for D.P.C. Movements. Be sure to look out for fatty’s up n’ coming music video “Listen to Your Heart”, hitting internet n’ television Fall 2007. Be sure not to miss Fatty Soprano’s up n’ comin’ show by Universal Urban, Rhythm Nations 2007, where he will be one of the featured artists showcasing the new talent to watch for in the industry. Talks with Koch Records have began already, projects are up n’ comin’, and recently talks with Landmine Records/ColliPark Records, one of the hottest Record Label’s in the industry at the moment with lead man “Souljaboy” from Mississippi. The aspirations of Soprano and D.P.C. Movements is to get a publishing and distribution deal. Specifically with the Majors. Finally, from the bay to the south , over to the east coast n’ swinging back over here to the north, the kid’s making some noise, make way for Fatty Soprano, his time has come.
