Far From Distant

Like most band's, we've been through a lot, from changing members to cancelled shows. We've seen the fast times and the slow, but what pulls us through is Far From Distant's love for making the music we're inspired to make. We love playing for everyone, hoping that giving you a listen will make you feel as inspired as we are. We love all the people who have stuck with us over the years and we can promise you we're going to keep doing what we love for as long as we can. Genres, influences, and faces can change but FFD and what we want to represent, we hope will outlast these changes. We can remember the times before the hall shows were shut down. We remember when TREOS still played secret shows and Boys Like Girls was not on mtv. We remember these because we are you. We're still the kids who sing their hearts out at local shows, hoping that someday you'll do the same thing for us. We want you to support the local scene, and if you like our music, support FFD! We promise to love you back regardless. In the end it comes down to the people who come out and keep the venues alive, giving us a place to play and meet people which is really why we all do this whole music thing.
