BIOGRAPHY:



FAINT OF ENEMY is a female fronted Metal-Hardcore-Band from Frankfurt a.M. (Germany).

The seven men formation combines several rhythms and influences of different genres like Electronic Noise, Hip Hop, Dissonant Deep Groove, as well as Straight Metal to an innovative, mad mixture of heavy music.



Not least because of that incredible female shouting and clean singing, even more their sick audioterror creates this sound. So the band obtains in this way these aggressive and unmistakable characteristics for their music.



In their youth, the two brothers Adi and Jules played together on their guitars and drums, terrorizing the neighbourhood from their parent’s attic. They were interested in music for many years and both of them began already in the age of eight with piano playing.



In Januar 2000, Deadend started jamming with them as the DJ in the Rock-Band RIST. From then on the three young musicians met regularly, in order to make music.



In June 2002, after moving to a real band room in Oberursel, they welcomed the addition of bass player Arne. Now the band began to write their own songs and lyrics very successfully.



In August 2003, the boys recorded their 1st demo REFUSE N RESIST under the direction of Oliver Klostermann. In the meantime, Vincent and Browner were engaged in the Thrash-Metal-Band NERO XIII.



In December 2004, as both bands started to crumble, the school mates Jules, Vincent and Browner decided to get together to start a new project. A vocalist was soon found in Diana who has studied “classical singing” and has sung in various musicals and bands for many years. This included serving as a back vocalist in the Gothic-Band JANUS.



In March 2005, after some early personnel shifts, FAINT OF ENEMY was formed in the first constellation, with its seven members.



In April 2005, the band decided to relocate into the band room of Browner in Oberursel, with their own recording studio ENEMUSIC. Adi, who has made an education in “diplom audio engineering” and who has studied “digital media & sound design”, recorded and produced the two band albums. From this day on the band practiced three times the week and within short time they became a very coordinated and well working team.



In October 2006, the band released their 1st demo PERCEPTION, and after that they also made a video to their first single SWORN ENEMY in a self-made production. They also started to promote themselves, so they began to create their own cd cover artwork, web design, own merchandise and video stuff.



In November 2006, after four years, Arne surprisingly left the band to go to university. But after a short period of time the perfect replacement was found in Lucky who studied “contrabass and classical piano” and played also in various Alterna-Bands before. He joined the band as the new bass player.



In May 2007, the band played their first gigs in the Rhein-Main area very successfully.



In April 2008, the band released their 2nd demo TRAPPED and a DVD, including live footage, promotion trailer and more.
