Eye, the Arsonist

Formed in 2003 and inspired by underground, rapid fire, cut and paste cinema, Eye, the Arsonist set about creating their brand of minimalist grindcore by reducing the music to it's basic elements: drums and vocals. Using distortion, Eye is able to weave torrential waves of mic feedback in between and around the schizophrenic vocal assault, while TK beats his drumkit into submission. Taking grindcore to an unheard of extreme, Eye, the Arsonist rarely make it past the 20 second mark, before songs collapse in upon themselves or cut off all together.



Despite this apparent lack of appeal, in the 4 years since they first formed in Japan, Eye, the Arsonist have managed to release countless 7", EPs, and full length albums on underground labels all over the world.



Never touring, but prefering to instead play random gigs, in random places, Eye, the Arsonist cram as many as 100 songs into a single set, often leaving both themselves and the audience dripping with sweat and blood!!!
