Omaha, Nebraska-1990:

Five young men: Nick Hexum, SA Martinez, Tim Mahoney, P-Nut, and Chad Sexton, formed a music group. Pot wasn't the only thing they were high onThey were also high on life .The posotive message behind 311's music is to "Stay posotive and love your life." 311 grew big in their home town, Omaha and through out Nebraska. In 1991: The five members moved to Los Angeles to get a record contract on Capricorn Records, but are now on Volcano Records.

Through out the journey of the 311 "mindspin", the band released two home videos: Enlarged to Show Detail, and Enlarged to Show Detail 2along with 3-11 Day 2004.
