Evita is originally from Oakland, California. They have performed with former members of Santana, Janis Joplin Kosmic Blues Band, Malo, Pete Escovedo's Orchestra and Sheila E.
She has been writing rockin' tunes since childhood. She studied their trade for over ten years under the instruction of Jim Bedford. Terry Reid has said it."There is no one else out there that can sing like Evita."
