"Evergary are a terriffic act from Norway, a country where bands sing about the snow and cold wind to forget their problems with the raging ice bears." Evergary consists of four guys from the suburbs on both sides of Oslo, Norway. These skillfull mucians assembled in the beginning of 2004 and started jamming around at pubs in the outskirts of Oslo, places where trance music and even dancing to it was the main way of recreation. When these guys discovered how loud a guitar or a drumkit could sound, they found out that the use of these instruments in the right combination gave a much more sophisticated trance than the trance music they had heard before.The result, almost three years later, is that they feel they've found a unique musical expression, fused together by all their different influences spanning from Godspeed via mics and rickenbackers to Dillinger Escape Plan. Add a twist of bitterness, our spoiled narrow-minded Norwegian ways, stressless-chairs and hipster-noia to that, and you will find Evergary. Evergary have recorded a couple of demos, released an EP and a 7", played around 50 concerts, slowly evolving and invoking their presence in the Oslo scene.
