What a cracker! This one just fell out of the box this morning, E-The-Hot brings this fantastic three track Balearic reggae EP on Mantra Vibes. First up "Ragmash" is based around a funky little guitar loop, which is chopped out and edited and then drops into a languid reggae swing for a bit, genius. "45 This" is a sludgier reggae affair with dubbed percussion and an nice spacey synth line, which occasionally cuts back to a phased disco loop. Lastly that man Bjorn Torske turns in a mammoth mix of "45 This" turning it into an underwater space funk disco odyssey, yay."PICCADILLYRECORDS.COM
