EROS

Eros lives and makes music in Orlando Florida. He released his first vinyl record in 1996, on the Orlando based Psylon label. He now has around 25 vinyl releases and over 100 digital. Eros has been on over 30 CD compilations such as the popular "Beatles Regrooved" series and Baby Annes "Ground n Pound", and many others He has 5 full length albums of original tunes available and his newest album "Attack and Recoil" was released March of 2010. Eros has won multiple music awards and production contests, such as the Guitar Center and Filter Magazine "Terminator 2 soundtrack" remix contest. He recently ranked in the top 10 finalists in the Ableton Live I-dance producer contest and also won 2nd place in the Akai-Numark-Alesis producer contest called "Milestones", getting a couple grand in free gear. Eros also shines live as a performer and plays at venues across the country. Not to be confused as a DJ, Eros recreates and twists his songs live on stage using the actual gear used to compose the original works. He has been featured at 100's of events across the country such as The Zen Festival, Ultra Music Festival, Earth Dance and many others providing his particular twist on the electronic scene. Eros has been approached, and or worked with, such labels as: Tommy Boy, Robbins Entertainment, Koch Records, Zone, Caffeine, Tweak, Mafddap, Kram, Yes Mate, PK, Bad Baby and his own label D'funkt records. A new fanbase was established when Eros received radio play with tracks like"Whats that sound", "Anthem" and "The Roller Skate song". His music is now popular on music sites like Itunes, Beatport, Amazon, Rhapsody and more! Eros has taken the plunge into Dubstep with multiple licensing's to Snowboard videos by Burton and Quicksilver. We can expect the next full length album in 2012.
