DESCRIPTION:
My name is Tanner Owen and I am from Boise, ID. Aside from a very small amount of drumming in high school, I have really only been drumming for a little over 2 years now. I am mostly self taught with a little help from 180 drums (do yourself a favor and check them out) and my latest instructor Matt Halpern of Periphery (If you're a drummer in need of lessons, he's your guy).

The kit set up may look a little odd to some people and its because im 6'8" and have to set things up a little differently to make things comfortable. I'm using my Mapex Mars 5-piece crossover series kit with Mapex Mars/Armory hardware, Meinl cymbals, Evans drum heads, DW 9000xf pedals, and Vater sticks.
