Eric est né le 14 février 1985 à Granville, ville située en Normandie dans la Manche. Eric passera une partie de sa jeunesse à Coutances (50).
Eric commence ses études et s'intéresse à la musique. A 5 ans, il s'inscrit à l'Ecole de Musique dirigée par Alain Devemy. Il apprend le solfège et le saxophone. En 1997, il entre dans l'Orchestre d'Harmonie où il alternera entre saxophone alto et baryton et où il aura l'occasion de chanter.
Idéaliste et investi, Eric se passionne pour la comédie musicale. Il decouvre Starmania qui lui donnera le goùt de sa future voie artistique. A l'âge de 15 ans, il part pour Paris et rejoind Le Centre Des Arts Vivants dirigée par Martine Curtat Cadet et marrainée par Nicole Croisille.
Eric apprend le chant, la danse et la comédie. Il passe ses premières auditions et obtient son baccalauréat littéraire option musique.
Jacques Dombrowski est une des premières rencontres professionnelles d'Eric qui l'engage pour sa céation d'une comedie ballet en l'honneur de Georges Simenon : Noir/Instantanés, à Liège, en Belgique.
Par la suite, il rencontre Edwige Chandelier son professeur de chant qui l'auditionne pour la compagnie Colette Roumanoff dans laquelle il participera à la comedie musciale Plus Belle Que Toi : Blanche Neige autrement,un spectacle pour enfants adapté du célèbre conte des frères Grimm et transposé au… Far West. La compagnie tourne en France et à l'étranger.
Eric rejoint le parc Disneyland Paris pour interpréter le rôle de Jean Christophe sur le show de Winnie l'Ourson et ses amis.
En décembre 2004 : nouvelle expérience, Eric auditionne pour Pascal Sevran pour son émission : Entrée d'Artistes dans laquelle il terminera finaliste. L'émission lui permet de se faire remarquer. Pascal croit en lui et l'invite sur plusieurs plateaux TV dont celui de Michel Drucker : Vivement Dimanche .
Eric est alors engagé pour la comédie music-hall Charlot qui, pour diverses raisons, est annulée.
On lui propose d'auditionner pour l'émission de télé-réalité : Attention Mesdames et Messieurs, diffusée sur M6 en 2006. (Michel Fugain, Jean Claude Camus, Roger Louret). Ses coachs : Juliette Solal, Brice Mousset et Marianne Valéry l'aideront à se perfectionner.
Suite à l'émission, Eric est repéré par Guy Louret et Blandine Harmelin qui l'engagent pour leur nouvelle revue musicale, Swinging Fantasy, qui se produit au théâtre du Casino d'Enghien les Bains. Eric y tient le premier rôle.
En 2006, il est engagé pour la comedie musicale Cabaret de Sam Mendes et Rob Marchall aux Folies Bergere. Il joue Victor (ensemble, sax) et double le rôle du Emcee
Aujourd'hui ERIC est GOODY dans la comedie musicale Fame de Ned Grujic et Raphaël Kaney Duverger au Theatre Comedia dans laquelle il sera a nouveau au sax.
Fort de ses dernières experiences, Jacques Dombrowski engage ERIC pour sa nouvelle création Les Folies de Lucien qui se jouera au festival off d'Avignon 09.
A ce jour Eric retrouve Les Folies Bergere au sein de la comedie musicale ZORRO de Christopher Renshaw, Stephen Clark et Rafael Amargo. Il fait parti de l'ensemble et est la doublure de Zorro.
Eric was born on the 14th February 1985 in Granville, a town situated the French region of Manche in Normandy.
At the age of 5, he joined the Music School under the directorship of Alain Devemy. Eric was taught musical theory, started to play the saxophone and for the next twelve years, he would spend most of his time perfecting his musical skills. In 1997, he was admitted to the Orchestre d'Harmonie de Coutances, the oldest band in France, where he played both the tenor and baritone saxophone and would occasionally have the chance to sing.
Eric becomes fascinated by musical theatre. In 1996, he attended Starmania and this was without doubt the show which decided his future artistic path.
At 15 years old, Eric sets out for Paris in order to audition for a music academy: Le Centre des Arts Vivants, directed by Martine Curtat Cadet.
After 4 years of intense inter-disciplinary studying he achieved his diploma
Jaques Dombrowski was one of Eric's first professional meetings. He hired Eric for his creation in honnour of Georges Simenon: Noir/Instantanés, in Liege, Belgium.
Edwige Chandelier , Eric's singing theacher, auditioned him for the Colette Roumanoff Company. He's hired for the musical Plus Belle Que Toi: Blanche Neige autrement, a children's show adapted from the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tales- and set in the Far West. For 3 years, this Company has been touring both France and abroad,
Eric continues joins the cast at Disneyland Resort Paris, to play the role of Christopher Robin in the Winnie the Pooh- And His Friends Too! show.
In December 2004, Eric tried out a completely new experience, when he auditioned for Pascal Sevran's programme "Entrée des Artistes". Eric makes it through to the grand final of the 2nd series of the show, and performs strongly, with the programme getting him a lot of attention. Pascal has faith in Eric and invites him onto several other TV programmes.
After this, he was hired for the Charlie Chaplin music-hall show "Charlot", which- for reasons outwith his control- was cancelled.
Eric didn't just give up, and he auditioned for the reality TV show Attention Mesdames et Messieurs, broadcast on the French TV channel M6 in 2006. Eric narrowly makes it to the final, encouraged by his coaches Juliette Solal, Brice Mousset and Marianne Valéry, but is unfortunately not hired for the show. During that time, he met many important people such as Roger Louret, Jean Claude Camus and Michel Fugain.
Following the show, Eric was spotted by Guy Louret and Blandine Harmelin who hire him for their new musical review Swinging Fantasy which is playing at the Casino d'Enghien les Bains Theatre. Eric is cast as the lead.
In 2007, Eric is hired for the musical Cabaret of Sam Mende and Rob Marshall. He's playin Victor (ensemble, sax) and he is the Emcee understudy.
Today Eric is Goody on Fame the Musical of Ned Grujic and Raphaël Kaney Duverger. In this musical Eric's still with his sax.
Stronger after this experiences, Jacques Dombrowski hire Eric for his new creation Les Folies de Lucien who plays during the Avignon Festival.
At this time, ERIC returns at Les Folies Bergere with Zorro the musical from Christopher Renshaw, Stephen Clark and Rafael Amargo. He's in the ensemble and the understudy of Zorro.
