When Eneida Fever! decided to start Magic In The Air (MITA) 10 years ago, it was at the time the only club in Barcelona dedicated to rare, obscure but groovy sounds from the 60s. These were allniter sessions where you could listen & dance to hip n happenin 60s garage, soul, psychedelic pop and freakbeat sides, all spun from original 45s. Also, the cream of the current live acts from the 60s scene were stopping by to deliver fresh aural & visual thrills!
MITA was born out of a strict policy to recreate the experience of a 60s club night, although with time musical horizons were expanded facilitating what would eventually become, one of the longest running clubs in town. Once a month, hipsters were coming from near & far to enjoy 60s/70s retro sounds covering all dancefloor basesbeat, soul, funk and whatever else Eneida & her DJ pals were digging out of the crates!
Call it retro, mod, or simply eclectic, MITA enjoyed a successful & unbroken run of 6 years at the original venue, Magic. Over the years Eneida experimented with personnel changes, change of date, and eventually forced changes of venue. There were many highs & lows, amazing gigs & last minute cancellations, while all the time supporters of the club continued to grow along with its reputation within & way beyond the city.
January 2005 was the last night of original MITA, an eventual victim of the politics affecting live events in the city. After a little more than a year, the MAGIC IN THE AIR CLUB was back on the track in a brand new venue but due to Eneida's move to Madrid for a couple of years, the club celebrated its 10th anniversary and closed its doors with a huge party.

Eneida Fever! es una veterana agitadora de la noche barcelonesa: su club Magic In The Air ha sido desde 1996 un referente incuestionable en Barcelona como club dedicado a los 60 en su vertiente ms pop y rock, sin descartar escarceos con la msica negra y ritmos ms cercanos al groove, por el que han pasado los ms reconocidos pinchadiscos de todo el mundo (Eddie Piller, Rob Bailey, Andy Lewis, Frank Popp, Tony The Tiger, etc,.). The Magic In The Air ha tenido en los ltimos aos una cadencia mensual (a veces quincenal) en varias salas de Barcelona: originalmente en el Magic Club, despus en la sala Cibeles, y finalmente, hasta en el Pop Bar del Razzmatazz. Desde diciembre de 2004 el club estuvo parado perp volvió el pasado mes de abril 2006 en la sala [2] de Apolo!
A partir de esta base de operaciones, Eneida Fever! se ha convertido en una de las ms reputadas dj que ha visitado los eventos ms importantes de Europa, llenando pistas con su eclctica propuesta musical que abarca todos los subgneros del asunto: en sus pinchadas siempre encontars Beat, Garage, Psyche, pero tambin Soul, Funk o Hammond Grooves, y es que en su maleta cabe de todo. Sus dijings en Alemania, Francia, Inglaterra, Holanda e Italia, al igual que en varios eventos nacionales como el Purple Weekend, EuroYeye Weekend o Peppermint Weekend, dan cuenta de ello. Lo mejor? la pasión que transmite en cada sesin.
Eneida tambin ha movido la escena de Barcelona como promotora de conciertos, responsable de traer a Barcelona por primera vez a New Mastersounds, Big Boss Man y Boogaloo Investigators entre otros. Tambin ha sido editora de fanzines como el fanzine Dr. Spock o la mtica hoja mensual Fever!, germen del MITA.
