ENDORPHINS

[english bio] Endorphins committed themselves to nice and grungy Indie Rock. The four lads from Flensburg, Germany twitch a determined symbiosis from deep and feedback-loaded guitars and pushing beats which offer a tight matrix to the charismatic singing.

Nice arrangements and catchy melodies played by chaotic souls: an unreal sound experience of destructive Rock 'n' Roll and pop songs.

Guitars get thrown into drums here, and the stage becomes a playground which gets heavily rocked. Endorphins are loud, terribly nice to look at and authentic.

Since their foundation in 1998 Endorphins made a name for themselves at several times through either kick-ass stage shows or through Vince Duque who performed the song “Hey Presto!” in the musical “Closer” in Hollywood.

The sing-along song “Rat-ta-tat-da-da” is played at numerous radio stations already and proves that also sad songs could make people chant.

During the last years hundreds of gigs were played, e.g. with Volbeat, Smoke Blow and Rock 'n' Roll God Mitch Ryder.

Along the way, miscellaneous EP’s have been recorded in own production, the last one called “Heir’s Pistol Kills His Wife”. This hand numbered record was given to at least 900 people.

Since May 2009 Endorphins are recording their debut album which hopefully will be out in autumn 2010!



[german bio] Endorphins haben sich dem schönen und vor allem dreckigen Indie Rock verschrieben. Die vier Burschen aus Flensburg zocken eine zielstrebige Symbiose aus tiefen, feedbacklastigen Gitarren und treibenden Beats, die dem charismatischen Gesang fetten Nährboden bieten.

Schöne Arrangements und eingängige Melodien gespielt von chaotischen Seelen, ein surreales Sounderlebnis, zerstörerischer Rock 'n' Roll und Pop Songs.

Hier werden Gitarren ins Schlagzeug geschmissen, der Bühnenboden zur Spielwiese erklärt und mächtig gerockt. Endorphins sind laut, furchtbar nett anzusehen und geben sich dazu auch noch authentisch wieder.

Seit der Gründung 1998 haben Endorphins schon einige Male von sich reden gemacht. Ob durch die einfühlsam harten Songs zu auszehrenden Bühnenshows oder durch Vince Duque, der den Song „Hey Presto!“ in dem Musical „Closer“ in Hollywood aufführte.

Der Sing-along-Song „Rat-ta-tat-da-da“ läuft bereits auf diversen Radio Stationen und beweist nebenbei, dass auch traurige Songs zum Mitgrölen anregen können.

In den letzten Jahren wurden hunderte Gigs gespielt, unter anderem als Opener für Bands wie Volbeat, Smoke Blow und das Rock 'n' Roll Urgestein Mitch Ryder. Nebenbei wurden diverse EP's in Eigenproduktion aufgenommen, zuletzt „Heir's Pistol Kills His Wife“. Diese handnummerierte Platte ging 956 Mal

unter die Leute.

Im Mai 2009 gingen Endorphins ins Studio um ihr Debut Album aufzunehmen. Das Album wird hoffentlich im Herbst 2010 erscheinen!
