Emma won the prestigious Australian Music-Oz Awards that included over 6000 entrants; was nominated at the Australian Songwriters Awards, and had her original music debut at number 1 on the mp3.com.au charts. Emma without doubt has proven herself to be a distinctively unique and gifted artist.



After entering the Music-Oz Awards (Australia's premiere competition for unsigned singers/songwriters), Emma - then performing under the name Emma Wilson - was nominated in three categories for her original material including, Pop; Alternative; and the highest award, Artist of the Year. Emma took home the trophy for the pop category with her beautifully fashioned song "Tell Me Why".



Emma's original material is featured on numerous compilation albums, most recently the 'i98FM Listeners Choice Volume 1' plus the Tsunami Tribute Album "Harmonies of Hope", which features her song "Your Crown". Additionally, the unsigned artists' song "Would You" debuted at number 1 on the Australian mp3.com.au charts and stayed there for 14 consecutive weeks.



Graduating from 'MASQUE Institute of Performing Arts' and the 'Contemporary Music Centre' Brisbane has not caused this talented artist to slow down at all. Emma has continued to blossom onstage as well, captivating audiences at some of Sydney and Melbourne's premier live venues, building up a strong and loyal fan base as she goes. Emma is also the Vocal Director at C3 City.



Emma has worked as a presenter and producer on Street TV, where she has interviewed the likes of Maroon 5, MIKA, and the Beautiful Girls. She also recently starred in Linkin Parks "What I've done" clip and currently hosts SONY BMG's music show "HITZ BLITZ" which airs nationally on WIN TELEVISION. www.hitzblitz.com.au.
