I started playing guitar because of the way it sounded. I started writing because I needed it to happen. I like having a vehicle for my words, feelings, and ideas. I like sculpting a song and watching it come together. I like feeling how songs can stir emotions in people, how the room can go silent if you say something in a certain way that connects you to them. I like all of it.
