Em Eye See(Mic/Mike), it all relavent. First and for most, my music iz food for the soul, so don't just listen, come get a plate! I write about my reality, how i see things, and how it effects my life and the people around me. I call my style "Homegrown Intelligence." Reason being, the areas I grew up in didn't have the mainstream outlets to adapt your style to unless you mimicked so-called commercial artists on TV(Fuck that!!). So me and my team had to develop our own style. It's like a gumbo of sorts, being born in FL, raised in CT, became a man in SC, and now a Grown Ass Man in MD/DC, you have to incorporate all these style in. So from that "Homegrown Intelligence" was born. The motto/label iz "The Train Don't Stop," which comes from the trails and tribulations that we have overcome on this musical road less traveled. No matter what, keep it moving!! Along with my partner Arsun Fist(check his my space page and production, son iz fire!!), we have formed a Team I.A.M. (Illness Always Manifested, a combination of ill production,rapid fire flow, and high energy live shows),which will be released on the T.D.S. label. Currently I am are working on "Dream Deffered"(Em Eye See Solo), A Struggle 2 Get Deep(Arsun Fist Solo), "Aint Nothing New under the Sun" (Team I.A.M.) and various other mixtape projects for other producers. I have performed with the likes of DMX, Lil Kim, 112, Big Daddy Kane, Gangstar,and others, plus our own showcases through out the east coast. Take a listen to the songs I have posted.
