emeson is a singer - songwriter, dj, composer, remixer and producer based in Londinium.
Swerving from the well-trodden path of the norm, emeson creates a sound that is uniquely electronic soulphonica, offering an alternative, with a completely different style of delivery. In short, his own brand of electronica, soul and alternative music.
Coming from a musical background (his father played jazz trumpet and hosted many parties spinning beloved 45's that covered most genres); it was odds on that emeson would follow suit and immerse himself within phonic sonic waters.

His production technique and song writing creativity went up several notches as an original member of the group Lifesize, alongside producer/singer-songwriter Uzo Madu (Beya Records) and jazz/soul musician Chris Jerome (Julian Joseph, Courtney Pine) writing and performing on tracks such as 'Awake' and 'Is This The World We Live In'(Gangster Records)
Other sonic stints include featuring on tracks for Birth of Mankind (Without You) and DJ Fly (Lyin' & Cheatin') whilst writing music for short films such as 'A Look To Kill' , Madame & the Census Man ( directed by Obinna Nwosu)
Wearing so many musical hats has seen emeson re-work and re-mix the material of the likes of legendary jazz musician Chico Hamilton (Language Universal), Mark de Clive-Lowe (Day by Day ft. Cherie).

He has also featured as a vocalist and written and/or composed for ground breaking artists such as the myspace chart topping jazz-lounge artist Yamasaki (Deep Six, Something Deeper), Mayte (Atlantico), Mariu (Eugenia, Simplicity of Life), Cain (Now You,Supergirl), Karma Sound (Mahe~) and the Minneapolis/Brooklyn veteran from the Rhythm Lab, Dj Don Cuco on the Don's 'Sundrop' track.

In-between, under, over and around all this, emeson has still found the time to write, compose and produce his self financed Bitter Soul-The Lab Soulphonica Sessions Vol 1 EP in 2004 and release his 15 track download only mp3 album entitled 'audiocentricities' in 2006.

emeson has also written and produced the track 'Maybe We Energise' for publisher, writer and photographer Howard Webster's forthcoming graphic, interactive epic 'The Many Worlds of Jonas Moore' starring Colin Salmon (The Bank Job, Prime Suspect, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, etc)as part of video mash-ups on YouTube.

On the remix front, Peter Gabriel's subliminal 1982 hit 'Shock the Monkey' gets the Emeson Shock Treatment remix, currently playing on YouTube.

emeson went on to compose and release Connect - The Lab Soulphonica Sessions Vol 2 EP in 2007 followed by his second solo album, Equilibrium.
The fourth instalment and second album from the belly of Emeson's Lab Soulphonica studio, Equilibrium is made up of true sonic electronica and avant - garde soul both fused with retro thought, present sense and future ensemble.
Then there was Gravity. The EP.
The setting for the next mission, the next stop, the next arrival of the full on suite album. Coming in 2012.

Taking time away from solo projects, Emeson teamed up with the drumming machine Joe Ryan (Heartbreak, Fair Ohs, Ebony Bones, High Hopes) to form the electronic experimental soul group The One.
