My music is honest, intimate, and universal. I write about love, loss, hope, friendship, personal identity, dreams, mistakes, curiosity, and beyond.
I was born in Mercer County NJ and moved to NYC at 17. I spent 8 years working, performing, and surviving in Manhattan. I taught myself to play the guitar (and some piano). For the past few years, I've been living in San Francisco, developing my songs, my sound, and my songwriting goals; San Francisco is a beautiful town in which to evolve. Shortly after my move to SF, I discovered INgrooves (an innovative digital media distribution and marketing company), where I currently work. There, I have gained hands-on experience inside of the digital music business and insight into the progression of the music industry overall.
I trained professionally in Manhattan for years in Musical Theatre and Acting (HB Studio, Greenwich Village), and I also spent time fronting a Williamsburg rock band. In NY, I played the Bitter End (Bleeker St.) as well as CB'S 313 Gallery (Bowery). I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BA degree in Theatre Arts/Acting.
I am honest, open, enthusiastic, driven, and excited about the future of music. I love to collaborate with other writers, musicians, and producers. There is energetic and creative life inside of everyone and it is up us to recognize it, appreciate it, and share it with the world, without judgment or fear.
