"Elixir The essence of a potion sweet and aromatic with the power to prolong life indefinitely a substance long sought by alchemists."



The band formed the year 2003 in the city of Anaheim, California. After going through several changes of band members and band name "ELIXIR" has managed never to lose its integrity for producing and performing outstanding Spanish Metal/Rock music. With a punch of "Power Metal" the band offers the audience an alternative sound to traditional Spanish Rock. Having the advantage of crossing-over from Spanish to English the band has developed a loyal following throughout Orange County and some areas in Los Angeles, primarily of a Spanish speaking audience. However, with its Rock'n sounds and Hard licks they have accumulated a well rounded audience of both Spanish and English speaking "Rocker's"!!!



The band has performed in several venues throughout southern California such as the famous & historic "Whisky A Go-Go", "BB King's", "The Gig", "Cat Club", "Paladino's", "Hard Rock Cafe", "Knitting Factory" and the "House of Blues" in Hollywood; among other venues both locally and out of state. They are currently working on their Music Video and CD (which includes 4 songs from the DEMO among a total of 15 songs). The DEMO (self-titled) is currently being broadcasted on radio; both locally and abroad via promotional compilations produced by Monico Productions & Escuchalo Productions (Asi Suena/ Emergente 1 & 2 de 6, 2005) and on local radio stations such as KUCI 88.9 FM Radio Rock & Roll - Irvine, KLBC El Calabozo Radio - Long Beach, and on KFUT 1270 AM Radio "La Voz" - Palm Springs, CA.
