S. Elezi
Coming from a family of vinyl lovers S.Elezi (Sedat Elezi) grew up with different musical styles. During his early childhood he got flooded in to the vinyl from his fathers and brothers record collection ( Disco, Pop, Jazz, Soul, Classic , P- Funk , Folk etc). Later in his teenage years his interest for hip-hop and electronic music grew. He drew inspiration from listening to artists such as George Clinton, Miles Davis , Marvin Gaye , Prince, Donna Summer , Massive Attack , Kraftwerk , GangStarr and De La Soul. His productions are very diverse and boost a wide selection of influences and styles, ranging from orchestral, dubby, house, techno ,disco,and deep funk.
S. Elezi started producing in the summer of 2005. After only six months of making music S.ELezi made his record debut on the Rotterdam's based Recordlabel Luxaflex Records, this release was quickly followed by other releases and labels. Recently his release on the Noir Music imprint ( Sax On Wax) ended up in the second place of the Deep House charts on Beatport (2010). He also remixed tracks for Jeff Bennett, Sabb,Dj Kot and many others. S.Elezi released on Internationals labels like Noir Music, FLASH-rec , Starlight , SK Supreme , On The Fly Records and his own Imprint created in 2012 Grammafoon Recordings . His tracks were played and supported by industry household names such as: Richie Hawtin , Luciano , Loco Dice , Dubfire , Mark Knight , Denny Tanaglia ,Timo Maas , Dj T , Butch , Thomas Schumacher , Jimpster , Djuma Soundsystem , Noir, Kolombo , Jeff Bennett and many others .
Beside producing he also mastered tracks for various labels( artists like :Tony Rohr, Oliver Klein, Kolombo, Jeff Bennett, Jorge Savoretti,Martin Dawson, Marcin Czubala, Kreon & Lemos,Hermanez, Sabb,Hector Couto to name a few).
