Budweiser True Music Artist, Element(ROCKS), is a Modern Rock band based out of Dayton, Ohio -- a four-piece high-energy explosion with engaging vocals, versatile guitars, and a powerful rhythm section. Originally formed in early 2000, this Rock-Quartet has compiled hundreds of songs to their set list covering dozens of Modern Rock Artists. Element has also played hundreds of shows in a wide variety of different venues through out South Western Ohio. Element has a strong stage presence and the visual appeal with the musical talent to back it all up.
Element's lineup consists of Scott Cavin, Bo Felts, Carlos Miller, and Bill Washburn. They have proven to be a powerful alliance, and each member has contributed greatly to the artistic development of the band as a whole. Element members have a camaraderie that allows them to remain focused on the artistic and professional aspects of the business as well as deliver a dynamic and powerful live performance.
Element plays and has played all the top Rock venues in Dayton, making regular appearances at Bojangles, W.O. Wright's, Stubbies, and summer shows at Sharkey's Poolside Lounge and JD Legends. Element has played top venues in Columbus including Lazy Chameleon and Frog, Bear & Wild Boar. They have also ventured into the Cincinnati club scene. Element has a large and loyal following, our motto is to win each individual over with our energetic and emotional live shows.
Element's partnership with Heidelberg Distributors & Budweiser began 6 years ago - an ongoing sponsorship that proudly brings Element to the stage and to the fans as a Budweiser True Music Artist. Element has opened for national acts such as SX10 (members of Cypress Hill), Seether, Cold, Lo Pro & Story of the Year, Tantric, Days of the New, Chronic Future, and Solace For Now (members of Earshot & Saliva).
January of 2005 brought the release of the debut EP, SIX- PAK, and the from there, the band contined to write more Element-Original material, focusing on a full-length album. In April 2006, Element's first live performance music video, Everything, was recorded at W.O. Wright's
Element kicked off 2007 being named "The Best Local Band in Dayton, OH" by the Dayton Daily News. The band continued to write and spent the year reaching goals of expanding their playing area and their fan base.
Our much anticipated full-length album, found completion and arrived by the first part of August (8/8/08), and was appropriately titled Element 08. Under the guidance of a brilliant studio engineer and countless hours of mixing an production, we spent two years breathing new life in the 6 demos found on SIX-PAK and laying down 6 more orginal songs. On August 9th we held our CD Release & Celebration at BoJangles, and we are proud to have shared that (and contine to do so) with our families, friends, & fans -- Thank you for your unyielding love & support!
Shortly after the release of Element 08, we were asked to perform at the "Road To Convention Rally" at the Nutter Center on August 28, 2008. Performing in front of 18,000+ and having our performance broadcast both nation AND worldwide, becomes our largest event to date. We were honored and proud to be part of such a monumental event.

Element continues to write new material and set a standard in the local music scene. Most recently Element opened shows in support of National Acts, Tantric and Days of the New. Presently, we're starting the 2nd quarter of 2010 by heading into the studio to record a new demo. We've added new venues as well. Our goals are to continue to write more new original music while we promote Element 08 and new material. We'll continue to expand our playing abroad to make a huge impact beyond Dayton.
