Habités par 20 années d’underground, les deux membres de The Garçon deviennent sur
scène un objet sonore hors-circuit : baigné de plages electro et new wave, agité de soubresauts punk et garage.
The garçon groupe électro frenchy et coldwave - une grosse présence sur scène, deux garçons, l'un aux machines et chant : l'ambiguité des années 80, un peu bashung mais pas trop, un peu Marc Almond mais pas trop, un peu pédé mais pas trop.L'autre met Alan Véga, The Fall, et Tom Verlaine dans sa guitare. But I also have to talk about to other interesting cool bands deserving attention. My second favourite is “The Garçon”, playing quite more explicit references, but in a real good mix.
There, you should imagine a live atmosphere between “Devo” and “the Smiths”, rendered by electronic live machines, a terrible extroverted lead singer and a pure psychobilly guitarist. This was really a good time, delivering original happy rock music and alternative atmospheres. I enjoyed the trip.(laurent mateo//musique press)
