Scraping jaws off the floors of live music punters since 2007, Melbourne madcats ‘Electrik Dynamite’ have ooh’ed and wooed even the most arduous and hardened music veteran in whichever ‘scene’ they’ve been tossed at. Bestowed upon with a killer crossover, Electrik Dynamite have won followers across everything from Rock, to Death Metal fans, Indie, Hip Hop and even the forever difficult Hardcore elite. Having released their debut independent super limited and personally signed EP, ‘Electrify The Night’ (Produced and Mixed by Roman Koester @ Complex Studios – I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian) in early 2009, Electrik Dynamite have gone on to play alongside many of Australia’s heavyweight alternative artists (Deez Nuts, The Galvatrons, The Red Shore, House vs Hurricane + more) before supporting USA’s Blessed By A Broken Heart, the UK’s Shadows Chasing Ghosts and the Sunset Strip’s own, LA Guns as well as touring the main support to Thy Art is Murder’s Australia wide album launch in mid 2010.
Combining an energy not seen since Guns ‘n Roses, the brash youthful musical virtuosity of such acts as Van Halen, Def Leppard and Iron Maiden, with a modern sound, production and attitude reminiscent of Avenged Sevenfold and Trivium, that delivers a totally unique sound unheard of before – think infectious hook laden 3 part vocal sections, face melting guitar gymnastics, 80’s flavoured keyboard melodies all tied in with a thunderous drum and bass section - these 5 dudes and 1 dudette are squeezin’ into their skin tight jeans, lacing up the freshest sneakers known to man and are ready to rock ‘n roll wherever the party takes them!
