8 Track Stereo

After meeting at a handmade paper enthusiasts convention, the members of 8-Track Stereo initially bonded over a love of paper planes before discovering their true abilities lay in origami. Despite becoming the 2006 European origami champions (under 50's category), a rapid diet of punchy rock music ensued leading all members of this once proud paper folding outfit to go off the rails and become the bad boys the sport.
2007's title defence ended in an early disqualification after Daig's motorbike entrance turned nasty and four paper weights were irreparably damaged. Luckily by this time the stage was set for the natural transition from origami masters into writing and performing rock music. Although there has been several campaigns to have the ensemble re-admitted into professional origami competition, most recently in the on-line magazine 'Origami Bonsai'; Burt, Daig, Dunc and Reece would rather focus on making music (and arson).
