Edmundo Carneiro started his career as a percussionist in his own country,Brazil, where he rapidly became recognized in his field.
In 1988, he left Brazil for France where he worked with the french singer Jacques Higelin for a period of 5 years. He also took part in the forming of groups such as "Bachibouzak", "Grupo Extra", "Kamafra" and "Guenau". He soon renewed ties with his homeland by working with Brazilian artists such as the singer/pianist Tania Maria, the singer Monica Passos, guitarists Rosinha de Valenca and Baden Powell, Seu jorge (singer) and trombone player Raoul de Souza.
He also began to work with french artists such as Arthur H, Axel Bauer and Eli Medeiros to name but a few. He first became acquainted with electronic music when he met the group Ollano. He then went onto collaborate with some of the most famous dj's, Next Evidence, Bob Sinclar, Schazz, Charles Schillings, Ariel Wizman, Stephane Pompougnac, Gregory. Along with Ludovic Navarre, Edmundo Carneiro was behind the forming of the group St.Germain, contributing to the success of their album entitled 'Tourist'.
In 2004, Edmundo Carneiro met Jean Leccia, the manager of 'Montera Music' record label, with whom he began to work a year later during the tour of the labels' first year anniversary at Bed Supperclub of Bangkok. In 2005, he participated on the second part of "Electronic Summer in Corsica "Hoots Records/Montera Music) album, where electronic and acoustic music are mixed with the voices of corsican singers, an album where Edmundo Carneiro adds his warm percussion tones. The following summer tour was a real hit with night clubbers.
He is introducing today, his new project entitled "House Player" which holds some truly beautiful musical surprises.
