I'm updating this page to let you all know that sometime early on the morning of Tuesday, March 24th, my lovely, beautiful wife Melinda passed from this world.

That morning when my mom went to wake her up she found her with the most calm, serene look on her face. She was in no pain and was not scared to die.

Over the past few day much of her family had come here to visit her and last night the last few people including her sister & nephew came and she spent all night talking about the past with them and having a good time. Before we put her to bed she sat and watched our baby dog Hendrix run around and play, then I tucked her into bed and made her comfortable.

She had expressed over the last week or so that she was very tired of going through what she was having to go through and just wanted to stop trying. We fought hard and tried a lot of new experimental treatments and such, but her movement, breathing and overall comfort had declined much in the past few weeks. We talked many times about her actually passing and she was very clear about the fact that she wasn't scared at all. she just wished it hadn't happned now, when she still had so many things to do. But whatever your belief is, SHE believed as do I that our bodies are just vessels. shells for our souls. and that we go we leave this level of existence. I know she's gone on to something better. someplace better. and she can breathe, walk, talk & feel perfectly now.

Please keep sending positive thoughts, feelings & vibes towards Melinda. she will know now more than ever how much you all loved and cared for her.

Thank you all for being a part of her life.

Melinda AnneLandis Whedon (July 24, 1978 - March 24, 2009) Rest In Peace.

Justin Lake Whedon (March 25, 2009)

In August of 2002, Justin and Melinda Whedon shifted their focus from the promotion of club and rave events, to the production of dark tribal house and industrial electro breaks. Producing together under the alias Ebon, the duo swiftly caught the ear of the EDM community. Their first promo single 'Sleepless2' was well received by DJ's everywhere, and was soon charted in the March 2003 issue of MUZIK magazine by James Zabiela. Shortly thereafter, legendary house label Hooj Choons licensed 'Sleepless2' for Zabiela's mix CD 'Sound in Motion' as well as including it on the triple unmixed vinyl pack. In 2004 CP Recordings re-released 'Sleepless2' on the E² EP backed with 'Fallen' by Evan Marcus. Next, Ebon's Thermal Imaging Mix of Paul Lancaster's 'Night Vision' was put out on the limited edition label CPR White. Those two releases were just the beginning as Ebon has since released a multitude of tracks, remixes and recently conceived and compiled the 'My Life Remixed' CD, a remix tribute to My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult released on Red Ant Recordings in February of 2005.

Since 2002 Ebon has also been creating a buzz performing unique and flawless LIVE sets around the Mid-West and as far away as Juarez, Mexico. March of 2005 saw Ebon perform for the first time at Winter Music Conference, which helped connect them with potential gigs in Canada, the UK and Australia. April '05 had Ebon performing LIVE one or two times a week all month long at club gigs, raves and even opening for My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult on a mini-tour promoting the 'My Life Remixed' CD.

Ebon is currently working on their first 'artist album' which they plan to be more song oriented, utilizing more live instruments and not only feature their own vocal talents, but enlisting guest vocalists as well.

The 'Can't Take It EP' is finished and ready to send out, so any labels, dj's, bloggers, reviewers, etc. that want one. feel free to ask.
