A Trinidad and Tabago native, who immigrated to the U.S. at the tender age of 12, multi-talented singer/songwriter Dwaine brings the musical traditions of a rich Caribbean culture to the hip, edgy musings of American rhythm and blues.

Dwaine’s incredible crooning/pop music style has allowed him to perform in “The Faces In The Crowd” contest, sponsored by SRC/Universal Records, which he won in the R&B category. Dwaine is also making a phenomenal noise on myspace.com and has a banner promoting his first album called “First Love” on myspace that appears on millions of people’s myspace pages. Dwaine’s album is being sold in select Best Buy stores, Itunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Lala, Napster, Shockhound, CDBaby and many other online sites. Dwaine had a music video called ‘Hook Up’ featured on the Music Choice Channel in the Hip Hop/R&B category. His song “All For Me” is also featured on the channel and Dwaine’s next music video “Remedy” a song dedicated to Rihanna will be on the Music Choice Video On Demand sometime late 2009. Dwaine’s songs “All For Me” and “Appreciated” was aired in WRKS 98.7 KISS FM by DJ Lenny Green in New York City. Dwaine’s songs can also be heard on 92.9 WTUG FM and 98.7 KKST FM, WQHT HOT 97, and WBLS 107.5 FM.
Dwaine’s song writing and hooks also makes him one of the most sought after pop/artist in the country, from Los Angeles to New York. In fact, every rap artist who hears Dwaine’s music desires to do a song with him. A&R officials have stated that Dwaine is the best writer they’ve encountered and he has the most catchiest hooks. Dwaine is also known as the “Green Artist” due to his concern for green energy and health issues.
