DT started out as a weak freestyle emcee in the year of 1995. Niggas always were tellin' him he was wack. He practiced relentlessly (up to and beyon 5 hours a day) until he started to see improvement- a vast improvement. Before long, he was hands down the dopest freestyle lyricist at his school, servin' suckas for free during lunch. The next year, he switched schools and made a full fledged dive into the life of a B-Boy. Influenced by his partners in crime, Paradox and TableRok, he decided that Hip Hop would be his life. He had been a DJ for a few years and he and C-Sharp started DJin parties for their classmates killin' shit. DT would grab the mic while Sharp woulod drop numerous Diamond D, Primo, and Pete Rock beats as DT would rip for sometimes an hour or two straight. Many tried him for the crown, but were brutally handed their asses on a silver platter. Soon, Sharp started puttin' him up on breaks, and an instant love for producing arose and DT bought his first piece of equipment on August 22, 2000. This non-sequencing, 16 bank sampler prove to be the catapult that would propell DT's obsession into a new hemisphere. Feelin' like he needed a bigger test than his Hickory, NC stomping grounds and in 2002 he moved to Atlanta to go to Morehouse College, starting in a pre-freshmen summer program. The first night there, he got caught smoking marijuana in a dorm room and was put on a sort of probation. Durin this trying time, he met a counseler who also happened to be an emcee. Felix told him to be cool, in a month or two, this whole shit will blow over. And as he said, after a month, DT was back in the groove. He and Felix became good friends and on the first weekend of school he formally met what would become the Yin to his Yang in the form of DJ AmDex. They immediately clicked while discussing breakbeats, samples and equipment. Little did DT know that this encounter would be an introduction to the dopest, most talented crews ever to make music-- The Vinyl Junkies Clique. From here, there's no need to biography further because the music speaks for itself.
