Go Drowsy

Go Drowsy is a hard-working and upcoming pop punk band from Gothenburg, Sweden.

What makes the band stand out in a crowded genre is their great variety of catchy and melodic sing-along punk rock songs, as well as their rare line up with a female vocalist/guitarist, that you don't see very often in this genre.



With their great energy and professionalism on stage Go Drowsy has become a very popular live act and they have got a growing and very dedicated fan base all over the world.

Go Drowsy is a hard touring band and has done several major tours all over Europe and has played with such bands as Uncommonmenfrommars(France), Easyway(Portugal), Nikola Sarcevic(Millencolin), Neverstore(Sweden) and Swedish punk legends De Lyckliga Kompisarna.



The band is releasing their brand new EP "New World Order" spring 2009 and they will make another Euro Tour summer 2009.

090317 New SONG & new EP!

We are going to release our brand new EP called "New World Order" sometime this spring! We’re all really stoked about the new stuff which has a bit new and really sweet sound that we're pretty sure ya'll like. Can’t wait to show the new songs to you guys, therefore we decided to put up one of the new songs right now; Walk With Me! Check it out!

The song is also featured on two nice compilations:



The Swedish compilation "BURN ALL THE SMALL TOWNS”. This first ever Panic & Action compilation contains great Swedish bands such as Neverstore, Chemical Vocaiton, Kid Down etc.!



The Italian compilation “DISASTERS! Vol.1”. This sweet compilation from Wiser Entertainment features some of the most exciting European independent bands right now, and also some really cool special guests from the USA such as No Use For A Name, Lagwagon, Dillinger Four etc.!

081114 Go Drowsy update!

We got a lot of great stuff coming up next year!

First of all, we are really happy to announce that we’re going to do a sweet Euro Tour with our dear friends in the awesome band ATLAS LOSING GRIP in January! We’re still in the process of booking the tour, so if you want to book us just write us or Atlas Losing Grip, the dates and possible cities are up on our Myspace!



Other good news is that we’re going to record and release a brand new EP early next year. We’re right now looking for a studio to record it, so please be patient! As soon as we have something recorded we’re gonna put it up here for you guys :)



Our dear chubby little Scottish friend Sean Arnold ( 3 Times Round/ Sicktrick) have recorded a really awesome acoustic cover of our old song So Long and Good Bye! Be sure to check it out at his Myspace!



And if you guys haven’t heard the original we uploaded it for ya’ll here on our Myspace! :) It’s from the good old days back in 2003! Hope you’ll like it.



And now some news in Swedish:

Nu är vi hemma i Götet och alla har tillslut (tror jag??) hämtat oss efter vår härliga lilla turné med våra nya fina vänner i De Lyckliga Kompisarna. Vi hoppas och tror att det kommer bli mer ihop med dem längre fram! Vi måste passa på att tacka hela De Lyckliga Kompisarna + crew för att vi fick hänga med och för att ni är så himla fina och snälla!, Walle för att du har så gediget skägg(och kör så stabilt), Oskar på Luger för att du fixar så bra, samt alla snälla arrangörer! (Ett extra stort tack till ljudkillen i Lidköping för gediget mottagande) Tack!!!

Som minne av denna fina sväng så kommer här en liten video på De Lyckliga Kompisarna’s fantastiska melodi "Gubbe och Kärring" som vi fick äran att vara med att framföra vid några tillfällen!
